Meet Your Therapist
Tania Andrews, LMFT, QTAP, DOT SAP
Tania (she/hers) chose therapy due to her own healing journey, which has taught her the importance of connection to oneself and the desire to nurture and repair relationships with others. As a relationship and family therapy specialist, she approaches her work through the lens of systems, networks, and connections, always considering the broader context of an individual's life. Tania seeks to help her clients understand their own experiences within the intricate web of relationships where they exist.
As a sex-positive therapist, Tania addresses a range of relationship issues, couple and family conflicts, and offers support for amicable separations and divorce care. In her role as a mediator and mental health professional in collaborative divorce, she facilitates effective communication and emotional support, guiding clients through the process with empathy and understanding.
Tania comes from a family and community with a history of undiagnosed mental health disorders, often stemming from a lack of access or distrust of the dominant culture. She became a marriage and family therapist because navigating the winding roads and curveballs of life sometimes requires outside help. Many of these struggles emerge as individuals work through their connections with others and the roles they play in those relationships.
